QT Retreat

We are excited to announce that a special Queer Tibetan retreat will take place on September 23rd to 26th! Queer Tibetans in the NY/NJ area and beyond, register for a weekend of relaxation and fun! Come connect with LGBTQIA+ bhoepas in this welcoming retreat space.

Capacity: 16 QTs
Suggested donation: $50+/- for food, lodging, and transportation costs (please donate according to means/resources)
Age: 18 years and up

Location: Hunter, NY in the Catskill Mountains of the Allegheny Plateau

The First Nations of this region are the Kanien'kehá:ka (Mohawk), the Mohican, and the Munsee Lenape including the Esopus.
Transportation will be arranged from Queens, NY. Let us know if you are comfortable driving, plan to bring your car, and/or willing to lend us your car.

When registering, please include proof of Covid-19 vaccinations

All registered QTs will need to provide a negative pcr test result dated 9/20 or later, or a negative rapid test result dated 9/22. If you test positive, your donation will be refunded. 

If you want to support this retreat, please help us cover our funds by participating in this raffle! All proceeds from the raffle will be used for TEP to cover expenses to host a retreat for LGBTQIA+ persons of Tibetan heritage.

Ticket sales will close at the end of the day on September 21, 2022 EST and the winners of the raffle will be announced the day after. For logistical reasons, the raffle is currently limited to the US and Canada.
